Marlin 1893 Produced in 1900
I have a Marlin Model 1893 in 30-30. The serial number indicates it was made in 1900. It has a half octagon and half round barrel. The barrel is first half ocatagon 13 inches. The magazine tube stops where the octagon and round barrel portions meet. I'm just looking for what information or direction to where I can find out more information on it. Thanks.

It sounds like a nice Marlin, go to the marlin collectors website and give them the ser# and they can look it up and tell you when shipped and how it left factory, barrel, stock PG or S 0
