Iver Johnson Pistol ID & Value
I have a Johnson's Arms Cycle Works 32 Pistol that I bought in the 1980's. There is no visible serial number. The handle has the engraved owls. The top of the barrel has " Johnson's Arms Cycle Works" and 4 copyright dates: April 6, 86, February 15, 87, May 10, 87 and August 25, 96. Pat's Pending". I am looking for an ID & Value.

Remove the grips. There should be a serial number on the left side of the grip frame. 0 -
with out knowing the letter code prefix to the serial number it is impossible to pin point exact year of manufacture. but there are a few things i can tell you. it is a second model safety automatic hammer revolver, made between 1896 and 1908. the four patent dates on the top of the barrel rib that you list were used between 1897 and 1899.
with the serial number and letter code prefix i can give you more information and a value range
