S & W Serial # References ???

OK , I have several books , including the "jinks" book on S&W's , but still need serial number info that seems to be missing in these books ?
Such as more data and references to SN dates ???

any suggestions ???

  Do you have one of the later versions of the "Standard Calalog of Smith & Wesson" by Jim Supica & Richard Nahas? That's what I refer to when I need dates or configuration information on S&W's.

  +1 to the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson. It's the best up-to-date reference book for the S&W collector, and the most complete listing of serial numbers in any one place.
