check your local regulations, most states won't allow you to hunt in muzzleloading season with them. they would only be paper shooters. 0 -
CVA made a good servicable .50 cal side by side back in the '80,s. They show up on the used market. I have been deer hunting with mine since that time. Mine is accurate with round balls out to 75 yards +. Mine is not verry accurate with elongated bullets or sabots. Legal in Illinois in all gun seasons. No idea about other states. 0 -
You can have one specially built to your specs. It involves making hook lock and special breech... not any easy task and there are not too many builders. But if you search the web you'll find someone who might take on a project. 0
