what is the purchase price/ resale price of a Colt 38 special nickel platted snub nose revolver and a Colt 357 Magnum short barrel blued revolver Both are 6 round weapons.

  This is going to depend on exact model, year of manufacture, and condition, and there can be a pretty wide range of possible values (ie from $300 - $1200).
  
  Posting pictures would probably be the best way to get an accurate assessment.
