Sport King Giving Me Fits!
The parts kit arrived today in good order and everything is proceeding fine EXCEPT the sear spring for this lever gun.
What's the kink for getting it installed?
I will cut off a piece of pin tomorrow to keep it aligned when I insert it and the sear tomorrow if no one knows any other way.

The little pin trick worked and the rest of the parts were simple to install.
The first shot failed to completely eject, but the following nine in the mag worked like a champ.
I then installed the long barrel and another mag full and the pistol functioned flawlessly.
I really don't see any other way to install the sear and sear spring, so remember this if you are ever lucky enough to aquire a Hi Standard.

Hello P3 I have been watching this post. I have put together many High standard pistols but most with the PUSH BUTTON type barrel dismount. I did not feel qualified To give you advice on your project. So I did not post until now. Glad it all worked out.[:)][^] 0 -

Thanks,
From what I gleened from the net, the lever model has a unique sear spring. None of my references gave any instructions other than "Install sear spring and sear".
I've only been messing with these pistols a couple of months, but I'm very impressed with them.
Thanks again.0
