We really need a serial number to correctly identify the pistol since there were a more than a few variations over time. Just looking at the stocks, no shroud on the ejector rod and the box makes me feel it was produced in the middle 1960s. Is there an instruction manual?

It has to be a second issue Det. Special made between 1947-72. The serial number should be on the inside of the yoke and on the bottom of the box (in grease pencil) if the box is original to the gun.

I would estimate its value anywhere from $750 to $900. This could vary depending on what part of the country your in.
