BenchMade Balisong or Butterfly Knife

I have a balison knife that I would like to auction on GunBroker and would like advice on any wording I might include as regards to making the transaction legal -or- is that necessary? A couple of people told me it is a switchblade and it is illegal to sell, but I see quite a few balisongs on the auction site and they appear to be individual sellers not dealers or manufacturers.   I'm not a collector of knives, but have received a bunch of knife catalogs over the years. Certain States and municipalities have strick laws regard switchblades, butterfly and knives with both sides of the blade sharpened. Before shipping your knife, I would familiarize your self with these locations, so you won't get in trouble.
