is a win 1866 rifle in 44 rf with a 32 inch barrel rare? the serial number is 108xxx. the rifle is not for sale as of now,but may be in the future and i may have a chance to buy it. thanks eastbank.

All 1866 Winchesters are rare but the standard rifle barrel was 24" so, yes, a 32" barrel is rare. 0 -
With something like this, proving factory originality is of paramount importance, i.e. 32" barrel doesn't meant squat, if it was something bubba did in West Armpit OK, not Winchester in New Haven. 0 -
