Remington model 6 pistol??
Looking over on the auction side, I found this little item listed:
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=184563512
My question -- Did Remington actually make any of these as a pistol, or is this a cut-down rifle with a pistol grip? (That would make it an NFA firearm, and make the Feds unhappy.)
Looking at Remington's web site, they sure don't mention a pistol configuration, so it makes me awfully nervous.
Anybody have any reference material for the Model 6 that could answer this?
Thanks!

Get hold of a copy of, "Flayderman's Guide to Antique American Firearms". It's the basic reference text used by all U.S. firearms collectors and dealers. Most of the larger libraries have it in their reference section.
# 6's, were only made as rifles according to Flayerman.0 -
It's a cut down rifle. Real pistols don't have the rear sight in the middle of barrel, and the photos don't show if it even has a front sight...
There have been hundreds of old .22 boys rifles cut down.0
