Benelli Legacy versus Montefeltro?

I own both and the major differences are the receiver & wood. The Legacy has a much better grade of wood & a coin finished engraved receiver. Might add that these are two of the finest quail guns I have ever shot. This is my 12 gage Legacy.

Clays is correct. Its pretty much materials and finish. I have a Legacy and love it. Its a beautiful gun.

I have shot the Montefeltro and its very similar in function and reliability but just not as fancy as the Legacy.

Snell, if you haven't used a Benelli get one and don't think about it any longer. I bought my Super Black Eagle back in the early to mid-90's (when they were imported by HK) and since then I have owned over 30 different shotguns that ranged in price from $150-1,500 for what I perceived for different purposes but I kept going back to the Benelli more and more. Now, I have a Remington 1100 .410 and the Benelli Super Black Eagle 12 gauge and I desire no others for use (although I would like to have a fine double hanging on the wall).

You may already be a Benelli owner or have shot a friends so you may know what I mean. These are SOOOOO easy to clean but rarely needs it anyway.
