.303 BRITISH PRIMERS

I'm reloading some .303 brit for the first time and have found that an old speer reloading manual calls for cci-200 primers. which when pressed into the case protrude out to far for my comfort. the new speer reloading manual calls for federal 210 primers, which i cannot find being that i live in Massachusetts were apparently it is a sin to be a firearm enthusiast. anyway did they change the depth of these cci 200 primers since the book was published or are they just suppose to be that way? HELP! thanks!

  What cases are you using??? Are there two flashholes in the primer pocket or just one??[?]

  BABUN most likely has pegged the problem if the cases are Foreign. Berdan primed.
