Garand ammo

Looking for some ammo to feed my recently purchased CMP M1 Garand. My feeling was to buy ammo from CMP to insure proper headspacing for the Garand. They are sold out of the Federal 2001 National Match ammo. They do have for sale "NLU 402 .30-06 M2 Ball" for sale. Does anyone have any details on this ammo? Manufacturer? corrosive? Proper headspacing for Garand? etc.

  A friend gave me about 2 hundred rounds of M1 ammo. Some say GOA 57 30, some FA 59 match, some LC 6 9. Are any of these corrosive? Thanks, mcaso

  Black Tip = armor piercing.
  What headstamp? (The change from corrosive to non-corrosive primers took place in the early 1950s, but not all the same year for all arsenals.)

  If NC, they are primo ammo. A year ago, they were going for > $1/round. There have been recent imports, so milsurp prices have dropped over the last several months. Prices have been all over the map, so it's really hard to to put a dollar amount on it. USGI milsurp M2 is now all gone, so I wouldn't sell it for less than $1 per.
  
  I've been using USGI AP for practice; it is almost as accurate as NM ammo.
