Best amo for Armalite M15 6.8 SPC

I want to buy the best quality amo for self protection, and the best quality amo for hunting. Currently have 110gr Sierra Pro, 110gr TSX Barnes, and 115gr Winchester. Don't know much about amo. Can anyone tell me how the amo I have is best used for? What other choices would be better?

  The ones you mention are all decent. Best to take them to the range. Try them out and see how they perform on your gun.
