16 ga Remington 11-48
Inherited this semi auto from my dad, it has excessive barrel movement when fired.
Any idea as to where I might find a
Spring assembly?

Make sure the friction piece is in place. It is between the barrel ring and the action spring. It retards the barrel movement and makes the gun work correctly. 0 -
Bob, what do you mean by excessive movement? The barrel on that gun moves rearward when fired more than the length of the shell. If the barrel is really hammering the back of the receiver, it could be due to lack of the friction ring or much too much oil on the magazine tube. I've been shooting one of those guns for over 50 years and generally understand some of the problems they present.Tell us more and the guys on here might be able to help.
