Savage 99 with color cased mag. spindle ?

Recently aquired a savage 99 with a color cased magazine spindle. Dating appers to be a 1951 rifle. It is a 98%+ rifle. One of the nicest I've ever seen. Oh yea 300 sav. Dos any one have any info on this rifle. Value etc.
Owner said dad had it in the gun cabinet since he was born but dad is gone and he needed the money.
