Like the 41 Magnum, it has a very loyal following. It is the only readily available commercial mid bore load that will shoot flatter than a 22-250. Most people that have them will not let them go...except dumb A$$ES like myself. I have one I am currently building right now, to replace a SAKO 75 SS in 7 mm RUM that I very mistakenly sold.

From a loading standpoint, there will be brass available for years to come, as the 300 RUM is very popular, and there is still a lot of 7mm RUM brass out there, and several factory loadings.
