Hi-Power .22
I recently purchased a Browning Hi-Power with a Peters-Stahl .22 conversion.2 mags.Did not get the 9mm parts.Frame and period holster have matching serial number 55xxx.Pachmayr accuracy PSW III on slide as well as Peters Stahl made in germany.Any ideas as to date and worth appreciated.95%.Thanks.

If the holster is a black, full flap, P 38, military type holster? The High Power is probably a post WW II German paramilitary contract pistol. Various German police departments and border guards purchased High Powers from FN in the 50's, the serial numbers could be anywhere in the range between 28,000 & 60,000. Not all these H-P's were sold to the Germans though.
Can't help you with the price, never run across one with a P-S conversion.0 -
There was a P-S HP conversion on another auction site with a asking price of $500. Don't think it ever sold. 0 -
Just noticed today that holster is a joseph moll stamped 1952.It is black flap etc. 0
