shipping fn fal parts kit
it is my understanding that fn fal parts kits can be shipped with out going through an ffl holder. i have the following auction on gunbroker and want to make sure it can be shipped with out a problem the auctiion number is. 183932704 it consists of the blr and lower receiver. thanks in advance for you help joe gifford aka argie1891

Federal wise no issue. On a FAL/L1A1 the upper receiver is the serial numbered part that defines the firearm.
Some states will have issues with the mag.

That is not a FAL rifle, it is an L1A1 rifle kit and as you have already learned, it is inch pattern and not metric. The magazine, which iwannausername has already addressed, is going to be your only real issue so far as shipping is concerned.0 -
i really dont know anything about this item. i converted a mauser to 257 roberts for a long time friend and he gave me these parts. he said the parts were given to him and came from a yard sale. strange but true. i didnt intend to get paid for the work i did for him as he is 82 yrs old and i just wanted to help him out. i dont know much about any gun made after WW11. joe gifford aka argie1891 0 -
