SKS-D and Pistol Grip Stocks?

I presume that an SKS-D with a pistol grip stock is legal being that the SKS-D was imported before the 1989 import ban or do I need some 922 U.S. made compliant parts?

Are there any wood pistol grip fixed stocks for the SKS-D, perhaps the SKS Sporter or Model M Wood Thumbhole Stock would work as an alternative although are they even available?

Either that or I may just have to settle with the ATI Dragunov Fiberforce stock and while it seems to be a decent stock, a wood pistol grip stock wood be nice?

    Very nice and a good alternate in case I can't find any SKS Sporter or Model M Wood Stocks, although I do believe that it would require a permanent alteration to the original SKS-D wood stock(cringe).
    However if that was my only alternative (besides the ATI Dragunov Fiberforce Stock) and if I do that I might as well notch the original SKS-D wood stock for AK47 drum magazines as well...
    For now I will keep looking for the SKS Sporter or Model M Wood Stocks though. Thanks for that info.

    Those are nice although I am not really a folding stock person, but maybe they have a fixed stock version perhaps.
    I have heard that the Tapco/SKS stocks were a decent stock however again I hope to get a wood thumbhole stock; although I appreciate your help and will keep this option in mind as well, thanks.
