Marlin 30/30 336CB
I have a Marlin 30/30 336CB lever action, 24" octagon barrel, 8 shot tubular mag with ckd walnut stock. I purchased this gun new several years ago. It is still in original box, never fired and all paperwork with gunlock just like the day I bought it. What would this gun be worth.

Look on the auction side, look at completed auctions, that will give you a real idea of value. I would guess about $500.00

What you have is a pretty rare Marlin Cowboy gun, most of these were produced in 38-55 caliber. The 30-30 commands a premium, an unfired one in the box should easily get $750.00 and more likely eclipse $1,000.00. It will only appreciate as they are highly desired by modern Marlin collectors.
Here is an example that basically is ruined as far as a collector would be concerned and it still brought $550.00.

The last unmolested one I remember seeing on the auction side went for over $1,000.00. Here is one that has had only 40 rounds through it and it went for over $800.00.

That is a nice one. Should get a little extra for your find. 0
