Anyone have any info on the Colt made (in Italy?) musket offered for a short time about 10-14 years ago. Were they nickled or something like that? Anyone know or where I can find a picture of those/?thanks..nambu

They were made by Colt Blackpowder Firearms Company in Brooklyn, NY, (which is now the Henry Repeating Arms Company), as part of the Colt "Signature Series". They are bright steel, not nickel plated.
There are quite a few pictures here: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=177819502

You're welcome. When these first came out, I had an original in the exact same condition: mint, unfired. Side-by-side, they were very close but the replica has Sam Colt's signature on the bottom of the trigger guard.0
