Looking for the value os a Nickel California Combat Python that is NIB. Thanks

  Cabela's in KC just had a 3" California Combat, blue, NIB that sold for $4500. Nickel would be more scarce but how much? Probably about 10% more.
  
  Note that the California Combat 3" pythons were not originally fabricated by Colt. Most, if not all, started out as 8" guns, were cut down, remarked, and the boxes have a label over the original label.
  
  Total California Combat 3" production was listed as 200 guns. To some Colt purists these are not the real deal. To most collectors they are highly prized.

  Thanks. This one letters as a 8'' nickel 38 special shipped to pacific industries so it is the real deal. All were cut down from 8''targets and only 251 were made in nickel so I am thinking probably pretty rare.
