Browning trigger ?
Would one of the many experts on here know how light the trigger on a Browning A-Bolt will go? It is a stalker short action in 25 wssm. I have not adjusted it yet, and was curious as to how low it can be set. Any info would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.

It will go down to 3 1/2 or 4 pounds as it is. With myself adjusting it, I can take it to 1to 1 1/2 pounds, with extremely little, or minimal sear engagement. But I only doo that for myself, and have to change a couple things.
BTW...25 WSSM is an awesome cartridge!

Timney makes a triger kit for the A-bolt for around $21.00 witch consits of 2 diferent springs. It is worth the $$--Eze--and works. 0 -
Thanks for all the info. I checked out the springs to lighten trigger pull. I may go this route. I also have a friend with some experience with these triggers and may let him do some custom work. Again thanks for the options you gave me. 0 -
Will second the spring kit. It is the only way to go on my 25WSSM hunter. One real light, too light for hunting for me, and one just a little heavier.
Easy to change too.0
