Horrible little 20ga double.
I have this 20ga double I need to fix and refinish, the linkage rod is bent and the firing pins are bent too.
Sadly it's a Springfield, made by Savage.
As some of you may know, Savage/Stevens made about 1,000,000 different models of shotguns.
How do I find the stupid model number?
This one is unlike most of the rest I can find schematics for, because the sear and firing pin is one long assy, where the FP is clearly brazed into the larger cylinder-shaped sear/spring guide.
TIA

Post a photo of it. It might be a 311. 0 -
AFAIK, the 311 has dinky little firing pins.
These ones are 2.5" long.

this should be a m-315, my parts book (gunpartscorp.com) shows both f.p.'s shaped like your's (bent). 0 -
The pins are supposed to look like that....... 0 -
