HK SP-89

I have an HK SP-89 I bought about 20 years ago when I was big on collecting HK's. I have never fired it and its still in its original box with manuals. Now with 2 kids of my own I am more less getting out of collecting. Can anyone give me an idea of what it might be worth, what it could be sold for, and if there is even a market for them. Thanks for the suggestions and advice.

  Hello, and welcome to the forums here on Gunbroker.
  
  For the best estimate of value of your SP-89, Go to the auction side, and use the search to bring up the SP-89's. Then click on where it says CURRENT, and change that to ended within the last 30 or 60 days. look at only the ones that have sold...that will tell you, what the current market brings...fasten your seat belt and hold on!
  
  
  I would say from 3-4k if new with the box.

  I assure you there is a market for those "pistols", especially in the condition you describe. Even in today's soft gun market you'd still be looking at $3,000 and up.

  They were selling in the $4k range for quite some time. I agree with Mark on his $3k or more price.
