The Bisley is a rather scarce gun. If it were mine I would not have it refurbrished. What I would do is try to come up with the necessary period parts to make the gun complete and functional. There are companys like Turnbill Restorations that could make a beautiful, better than new,gun out of it. Cost will be high and you end up with a re done gun. I would prefer to keep it original. Your gun, your choice. I can't give you a price on it but I am sure there are Colt experts here who can provide that info.

If I had it I would scout around and find parts to make it complete. Couple hundred dollars should cover it. New replacement parts I would rust them a little with gun browning product, tone them to match with fine steel wool. This would easily double the value to $1500-2000. Thats how I build my collection - restore distressed guns.

Hello Gordon . I hope you got my email. Guys before Gordon posted pictures here he sent them to me . Although My reply to him varies slightly with the other replies I think He has gotten good advice from all of us and got a fairly good Idea of what your pistol is worth . I wish it was easier to post pictures on this side of G.B. That is why I short cut my reply to him and went through email direct to him.
