  Most all of the old barbers I knew, used a razor strop to hone their razors. My late grandfather was a barber, and many times as a youngster, knew what it was like to get a feel of that razor strop on the back side....
  
  Those are pretty unique David, and I remember that Grandpa had one or two of those too...he passed away in 77, at the age of 77, so it was a long time ago.
