is this a sight tool??
Hello, i need the experts advise. This is made of brass and is 27mm long by 23mm wide . That is a type of machinists clamp used to position and hold an object on a round surface. For gunsmithing, used to hold sights on the barrel for sweating on (soldering) or drilling and tapping. 0 -

I have also seen that type clamp used to gently position the front sight left or right and fore and aft, like on the Swiss K-31, to adjust for zero.0 -
