Colt LMG RO750 on Colt Lower?

Are there any legalities involved with placing a semi-auto Colt LMG RO750 on a semi-auto Colt Lower; such as with the 'preban' and '922(r)' parts compliance that I need to be concerned with?

    922r only applies to imported semi automatic rifles. Now that the old 1994 Crime Bill has expired there are no longer any restrictions on assembling new assault weapons, at least on a federal level, so you can build what you please.

    Thats good to hear, thanks mark, as I just wasn't sure and was looking over fed laws to serial numbers but couldn't find what I needed.
    This one is new in the box at a gun shop and comes with a new in the box lower is but partially disassembled such as the bipod is off of the upper.

    Mine came in a box totally assembled. I am looking at the thing and I'll be damned if I can tell you how to take it apart...Much less put it together.

    Were the Colt LMG's made by Colt or Diemaco and what are the proof marks and where are they located, any pics?

    Not finding any pics of proof marked Colt LMG's, although there is alot of info there, is it under Colt LMG or Colt M16A2, already have seen some of the stuff including the wiki stuff, but looking for info and pics concerning proof marked Colt LMG's.
