crimped primer pockets?
Besides swaging the crimp out of the primer pocket is there another way to get rid of the swage in the primer pocket?

"cut" them out.
Basically a swager smashes them out of the way. Then there are cutters that cut the material away.
I have a cutter in a RCBS Prep Center and like the way it preps the brass better, but for doing lots of it the Dillion Swager is the way to go.0 -
I use Lyman primer pocket uniformers when I don't have many to do.
You also can use a deburring tool.0 -
I use the Lyman uniformer on my LC brass , works well ! 0 -
If you have over a couple of hundred to do, you can chuck a deburring tool holder in a drill press and cut them. I've seen some cut too deep and some where the tool chattered, but mine came out fine. You can cut them as fast as you can pick them up and it just takes a touch. 0
