Noble shotgun

I have a good friend that acquired a Noble shotgun model 60.
I am trying to find information on this company and perhaps the value if in good shape.

Ditto a H&R model 400.

Any and all help appreciated.

  I've got a SxS .410 Noble shotgun which looks like an AYA. Beautiful little gun...nice wood and nice engraving. Understand that Noble was at one time a company in MA (Haydenville?) and most of their guns were Spanish made. Anyone know anything about these? Only info I can find is that there is not much collector interest in Noble, but was offered $900 recently at a gun show for this one. Any connection to AYA? Thanks.

  Nobel has been out of business for nearly 40 years. S & W bought them out in the early 70's. To the best of my knowledge all the shotguns and .22 rifles they made, were inexpensive, mediocre quality, utility guns. They don't command high prices on the used firearms market.

  They were located in Haydenville Massachusetts, and were in buisness from 1946 to 1971. As rufe-snow said they made basic, no frills, firearms. I'd guess around $125- $150 on the model 60.

  H&R Model 400 is a pump shotgun of 50-60s vintage; 50-150 USD depending on specifics

  I used one once that belonged to my FIL. Double barrel 12. I thought it was made in Spain. May not be the same co. Nice looking but heavy and would fire both barrels at once sometimes. Not the best quality wise.
