Old Colt ACP Ammo? Pix Added
With a couple guns I got two boxes. Full box .38ACP, box is all there but not in good condition, has a picture of the cartridge on it. A .45ACP poor box of 20, military, box date 1919, 19 rounds head dated 1918. Is there collector interest or should I just shoot them?
Guns were a 1902, a 1905 & 1911 ('17) all well used but 'no bubba'. 1911 about 50% with two tone mag.

Collector value is ZERO! Shoot 'em if you want, but remember they are most likely corrosive primed..the 45's for sure. 0 -
I disagree that it is not collectible. A partial box with age showing adds to a display. 0 -
Yes collector grade box because of age . save and take to the next big gunshow you attend wrap in saran wrap to keep from damaging box . Look for dealer that sells old ammo. He will be selling his duplicates. Don't take his first offer he makes. Tell him you are going to ask other ammo collectors in the show and take best offer. If he comes back with higher offer TAKE IT . if not pass and look for other dealers. You Can' ship ammo buy the USPS . do not try it postal inspectors will PUT YOU IN JAIL for one round or a truck load. . You can sell on gunbroker but must ship UPS or FEDEX 0 -
VERY collect able. I have sold like items for $35 each. Research the "empty" boxes on another "anti-ammo" web site. Bob 0 -
