Looking for a suggestion as to get the best gun screwdrivers and from where.
When looking at various sets. it seems that most also have phelips and torx to.
Are they really gun screwdriver bits then? or just packaged sets of bits?
So looking for a strong recommendation of brand and where to buy.

    Thanks Ed

I still have two sets of very old Grace screw drivers and a set of Chapman. The advantage to the Chapman is that when the blades snap off you can just replace the blade insert and not be forced to return the entire tool for reshaping (as is the case with Grace). I am just an advanced hobbyist and not an actual gunsmith, but Grace and Chapman work fine for me.

As Mark has stated, Grace, and Chapman are good. Wheeler Engineering, being sold by Midway and other's are good too. Make sure you get the big set, and a torque wrench that goes to up to 60 or 80 INCH pounds.

I used Grace in the early 60s, but the set I bought recently were poorly ground. I gave up on them and got a large set of Brownells.

Chapman will also replace broken bits, and you will break one sooner or later.
