My earlier thread got locked up before I had a chance to thank everyone for their help on those old timers. Your help will make an older Nam Vet happy.

    Glad you got what you needed, this is a good place for info and fine friends. When I read your thread title, I immediately thought, MOTORCYCLES!!!![^] I was young and dumb in my youth and did a few really scary wheelies. Now I am just old and dumb, but I still ride, just keep them both on the pavement.

    Hi He Dog. I never thought about murdercycle "wheelies" when I wrote that title.

    I owned a couple of OLD Indian brand crotchrockets in my '50s high school days. My '43 Wartime Priority got me down on a wet, Indiana gravel driveway ONCE!

    From that time on I was a devotee of old guns and hot cars - also discovered girls about that same time. [:D]
