Referance the 22 BB cap / 6mm Flobert discussion, they ARE the same thing. I've measured a number of them, and the ball is in the .219-.221 range (where it exits the case mouth). Rim and base dimensions are also in the "normal" range for 22cal RF
A lot of the smaller metric/European rimfires don't follow standard conversion tables.
Below is a 8mm Centerfire shotshell (and headstamped as such), a 9mm Rimfire shothell (center) and a 38spl for comparison. Note that the 8mm is actually larger than the 9mm.

I have used these out of a Bolt action .22 rifle for rodents in the yard. They work great on critters up to possums size. Very accurate and good power for a round that uses only a primer.
