BFR & Ruger grips?

Was told that Ruger Super Blackhawck grips will fit BFR revolvers without modification. Is this true? I would really like to get a nice set of wood/laminate grips for mine and this would really open the selection up.

  i have the 500 smith BFR and i have put grips for the ruger S.blackhawk on it

  Why not see if oldmagics will make you up a set? Forum member, does fantastic work.
