410 sxs cullum & boren co.
Good day, folks. I have this little .410 double, appears of no better than average quality (fit-finish), probably imported (So. America I suspect). The only marking on the outer surfaces are; CULLUM & BOREN CO. on lh bbl, SPORTSMAN on rh bbl, and some light engraving on both sides of the reciever. The lump is marked CB1 and there appears to be some other light marks on the bottom of the bbl's just forward of the lump, however they are illegible due to wear. the frame is stamped 410 and PATD. The serial is stamped on the frame and barrel. Thats all, nothing else. Can anyone tell me anything about this critter? It needs new wood, and I don't want to waste time finding any (if it can be found), if the gun is a throw away POS. any help is appreciated.

CULLUM & BOREN was a big sporting goods store in Dallas ca 1900-1980, so it may have been made for them by Stevens, Mossberg, etc. or maybe an import. 0 -
Thanks for the response. could still use more info. It needs a stock, sorta like to figure out what it is, and if its worth the trouble to try to find the wood. 0 -

Yep. And take photos of the 'illegible' markings. May not be unrecognizable to us. Use light at a shallow angle if need be. Best, Joe0
