Best Place for New Complete Colt AR15 Lowers?

Besides looking on GB what is the best place that stocks New Complete Colt AR15 Lowers and at a reasonable price?

    if you can get a colt lower it won't be reasonable..plus they are not milspec type compatable ..propratary internal parts

    Colt never marketed AR-15 lowers. You can usually find Colt lowers marked Match Target, but there will be none marked AR-15; if that is in fact what you are really looking for.

    Yes I have seen New Colt complete lowers marked several which ways, although if they were pulled or marketed that way I have no idea; but they were in fact new and I am not really particular as to what the receiver says only that it is a Colt and it is New.

    There is no such thing as a Colt AR15 lower at a reasonable price. I picked one up at a gun show a few years back and paid in the $400 range.

    Depends on what reasonable is as the variable here; considering that you are getting half of the rifle and I am only talking about complete lowers as stated earlier.

    Anyway back on topic...
    Are there any websites that specialize in Colt complete lowers, AR15, Match Target, Match HBAR etc whatever, so long as its New and Colt;
    however Match Target/HBAR would be fine, maybe a heavier build perhaps that would work where can I get those then if so?

    I bought several of the Colt MT lowers from CDNN, but that was quite a few years ago. I don't think that Colt even offers lowers as a stand alone product any longer so no wholesaler is going to have access to them as a stocking item and I highly doubt any are still on the shelf. I think that you are probably going to be stuck searching the auction side. As shipped the Colt lowers came in a plain white cardboard box with the serial number on a printed label along the side. All of the internal parts were fitted but there was no pistol grip as shipped OEM.

    I just looked it up and the Colt MT lowers were purchased in December, 1998 from CDNN at a price of $200 each. I highly doubt you'll find one at anything like that price today.

    Thanks for the info Mark, No I don't think we will see those prices on a new in the box Colt anything unfortunately either, however I have been checking around and might come across a fairly reasonable deal sooner or later and yes I agree the GB auction side is the way to go.

    My dad bought his first one in 1967 for $189.99 complete and it was bought mail order.
    TacticalGear72 has been selling stripped Colt lowers for "Buy Now" $365 and has sold a few. Might try him.

    The SP-1 was sold only as a complete rifle, you could not order just a lower receiver from Colt...You had to purchase the entire rifle, which is what your dad did. Come on guys, lets stay focused: We've been talking about nothing but Colt lowers for the past 12 hours so lets not start dragging in complete rifles. milsurp wants a Colt lower and not the entire rifle.
