I need help Identifying this gun. Any help appreciated.

    It appears to be a late 19th Century military type revolver. Most were made in Belgium, but this one in the photos doesn't seem to have the very distinctive proof marks normally found on the Belgian made revolvers. It most likely was made in Spain, who made inexpensive copies and replicas of the better made Belgian guns for the South American trade.

    It looks like an 1883 Belgian Nagant but as Rufe says, there were copies and copies of copies in those days.

    Are there any markings? I cannot make any out in the photos.
