    Drill, tap, and install new bead.
    Use a mount and a scope.
    I've saw some type of clip on gizmo that clamps around the barrels and provides a sighting window.

    DIY meaning not buying anything from tru glo or such, get a plastic arrow knock in bright glow color, dremmel cut it into a small ramp and glue it on. Also get some auto pin strip tape in a thin bright color and run it right down the middle of the rib, seal it down with varnish. it will let you know when you have the barrels too high or low and give you a real quick point of reference.

    I used an Allen head screw and glued a BB in it.

    I figured he was into CAS and needed quick acquisition, sxs coach guns are favorites for CAS, home defense just tape a flashlite under the barrels.

    I white hankerchif tied to the end of the barrels works as well as any tritium bead, if you need a night sight..[;)]

    Why reinvent the wheel? New beads can be had for literally only $3 to $5:

    Personally, I'd go for one of those fiber optic jobs for a few dollars more.

    In terms of installation, it depends on how boogered your current bead mount is. If the hole is OK, you might be able to just screw in a new bead with a drop of loc-tite and be done with it.

    If not, you can drill and tap, or epoxy. Silver solder will work, but you have to be extra careful not to delaminate the barrels apart!
