C&R question

I've got a m-92 win. up for auction here (#46161756) that has been copletely rebuilt but to all original spec's. it this still c&r transferable. A potential bidder wants to know. thanks.

    I just finished filling out my C&R renewal and was surprised to see question #8 ask my if I have, or planned to do any internet sales. It then went on to ask which site(s) I planned to use. I don't remember that last time, any idea as to when that appeared?

    Some Russian's should be eligible because they were made in the early 1950's. Of course if the rifle has varied from its original configuration it will not be C & R eligible.

    the thing is that the year made doesnt matter. the yugo's and such that were made up to the 80's are c&r but the russians were just never put on the list. one misconseption is that just because a gun is 50 or more years of age does not mean that it is a c&r eligble gun.its still has to be on the list.

    All Russian SKS rifles in original issue configuration are C&R's.

    Look in ATF P5300.11, under Russian Simonov SKS.

    No Chinese SKS's will be C&R until they are 50 years old, like ANY OTHER GUN THAT IS 50 YEARS OLD.

    redman you are wrong If it is not on the list then AGE IS the determining factor. original configuration and 50 + years then it is C&R period.

    I'm think you are thinking about the Chinese being the only SKS that is not C&R eligable.I think the Russian is

    They don't have to be on the list, if you can determine they are 50 years old, then the firearm is C & R eligible.

    All Russian SKS carbines in original configuration or Curio and Relics no matter what year they were produced. He is right, you are wrong, buy him a beer and move along.
