sig sauer p229 sport

hey guys I took a sig sauer p229 sport in trade today and the aluminum compensater/muzzle brake is tarnished. I tried to clean it up but cant do any good. Does anybody know where I could find another one, also I need a factory hard case for same gun. any help?

  Tarnish is usually caused by reaction with sulfur dioxide in the air, & only affects the surface. I would try a mild abrasive such as silver polish, Flitz, or Brasso. If they don't work, I would try 0000 steel wool. Use spray lacquer to protect it once you have removed the tarnish.
