    Looks to be original finish [:)][^] Some flaking of finish on top of slide [:(]Low serial first year of production [:D][^] Rear of barrel looks to have some metal lost or may have been shot with old black power ammo and not cleaned very well[:(] Grips may be replaced [?] . Value I would say $2500.00 or maybe slightly more. Go to Cabela's Gun library look at Colts There are always a few ACE for sale but most that are on there now have been there for Months if not Years and have not sold at price asked [:(] Thanks for pictures
