WINGMASTER GAUGE CHANGE

I have an old ( early ) 20 gauge wingmaster, built on a 12 guage frame, The magazine tube is 12 guage . I can place a 12 gauge barrel on without problem. My question is : Do I need a 12 gauge Bolt to complete the transformation to 12 gauge or will the 20 gauge bolt function with 12 gauge shells ?

  Yes, that would be correct. The 20 gauge bolt would be too small for the 12 gauge head on the shell.

  Never swap non standard parts on any firearm...

  you will also need the 'lifter" in the trigger group and the shell stops...........not worth the effort
