1934 Beretta holster question

I just recieved a khaki/canvas holster from ebarf for my 1934 Beretta. Supposed to be Italian, but it has the P37 British style attachments to the belt. Fits like it was made for it, but did the British issue a holster for this pistol? (Post war, occupation, etc?) Sorry, no pictures as the poloroid is out of film tonight. Thanks, yblockhead.

  My reference does show a white canvas holster used by the Italians for the model 1934. It has a full length flap on the front with a leather closure. And large canvas belt loop on the back. Supposedly it was used by their forces in Africa.
