mystery scope mount military??

Greetings, I have a mystery scope mount maybe military , that i got in a box of mauser and 1903 springfield parts i bought. It has A screw on top and bottom has beveled edges with a hole for mounting. Measures 20mm across and 8mm wide. It has numbers G85 on the bottom. Any help is appreciated.Thanks. [img][/img]
