    Mr. Duckhunter,
I didn't come in on a turnip truck. I do have documentation for this rifle and the Model 37 rimfire that was his. Now how much.

Hard to tell what the provenance adds to the value of the rifle. Without the history it's probably worth $600 to $700. At a well known high end firearms auction house it might bring double or triple that.

You have two very nice classic Remington rifles The 37 in good original condition is High Quality 22 target rifle if it has both original sights and target scope it could easily top $1000.00 The model 722 in the condition shown could bring up to $750.00 in 257 Roberts plus the Lyman scope is liked by older shooters and has a good following.$200.00 . These prices are insurance replacement prices not what you could sell it for tomorrow . The reason is trying to find a 722 in this caliber & condition is not what is in stock at every gun shop you might look for years for a replacement.

edit Great wood on the model 37. I have one but not as nice wood but I have 15X Lyman scope [;)]and Vaver sights. Two 5 shot Magazines and one single shot You could not build the quality of the model 37 Today

    Thanks guys,
I have been on this forum for 5 yrs and of course a gun person for many years. I collect and very rarely sell. I do have a good insurance policy on my weapons, but have photos on all and if necessary the provanance. Duckhunter, If yours is as clean as mine and in original condition, I will give you a $100 profit.

If you are interested I've posted some photos of my Mod 37 which was also a Mike Walker rifle.

The scope is a Lyman 8x Super Target Spot Jr.
If any of you have an August issue 1994 Precision Shooting magazine, both rifles are featured there as well as serial numbers.

    Duckhunter,
When you come by I will have $600 in my pocket waiting on you. So yours is worth money and mine isn't? I bought a new Chevy PU in 1956 for $1900 and it was loaded for a 56 model. Would I sell it for that today, well no. [:D]

duckhunter, this may be one of the luckiest days of your life!

If your rifle can match or better the one that butch showed here, I'd be inclined to offer to purchase it off you for a bit more than what he offered even.

Let me know at your earliest convenience ...
