Winchester 3 digit ser. #

I have a buddy who was given a Winchester 1892 that he said was in near perfect conditon, unrestored. I have not seen it and he couldnt remember the cal at the time. He did know that the 3 digit ser # is 37X. He wanted to know the value and I couldnt tell him. So any guesses?

  Need quality photos for a accurate assessment of value. IMHO the chances of a early 3 digit Model 1892 being in perfect unrestored condition after 115+ years isn't great.

  I am in 100% agreement with rufe-snow... pictures, and a complete serial number.

  If restored what would be the value? or if its in the normal condition for this age of gun.
