Has anything new come along in belt fed ar uppers?

    Why aren't there all kinds?

    Well, for one, I have to question the real world utility of this thing. OK, as a novelty, I get it, but is there really much advantage to be had in turning an AR-15 into a machine gun? If you just want high-cap, 100 round AR-15 mags are readily available and will take unlinked rounds.

    By the way, if you like belt-feds, I think this is sort of cool (though it might be a hoax for all I know):

    That is so bogus !!! belt feed a 1911....with no big machining cuts on the slide...yea sure !!!
